Obama currently has an approval rating of 43% and a disapproval rating of 50% according to the poll information on gallup.com. While most presidents' approval ratings do go down across their term, he is also dealing with an unfavorable economic climate. 49% of people believe the economy is in poor condition and a total of 26.9% are either unemployed or underemployed. Most of these problems are being attributed to him, so he will experience some negative feelings from that and potentially lose voters. It is difficult to say his odds for him winning reelection while the Republican candidate is still undecided. Depending on who is chosen, he could fair better or worse. At the moment however, I'd still say he has a decent shot at reelection and tons of money to help his efforts.
