Favorite Holiday Memory

My favorite holiday memory is my family's yearly tradition of making Christmas cookies.  I help my mom make the dough, roll them out, make the cookies, and bake them.  Then my brother and dad help us decorate them. Usually they don't turn out exactly pretty, but they still taste really good.  We made them yesterday, so we'll see if they last all the way to Christmas Eve.

Political Cartoon #4

The cartoon was drawn by Robert Ariail for Townhall.com.  It depicts President Obama as the kid next door who has just hit a baseball through his neighbors window, the drone as a baseball, and the Iranian government as the angry neighbor after the drone crashed into their country.  Obama is asking for the baseball back just as we requested to have the drone returned. The cartoonist uses caricature for how he draws President Obama and represents Iran. The cartoon deals with the capture of the American drone and our request for it to be returned which was denied.  The cartoon's message is that Iran really has no incentive to return the drone that was being used over their land and potentially spying on them.  The point of view suggests that Obama was foolish and naive to ask for it back.
