At this point, despite the many attacks on Romney during the debates for his lack of a position on some issues, it seems like he is still the most likely to win. He has consistently be at the top of the polls or in the lead and has the best resources to continue. He hasn't made any unforgivable errors and, as of yet, has no horrible skeletons in his closet. While he is more moderate than many of the other candidates, this will give him the greatest appeal in the Presidential Election if he moves past winning the nomination from his own party. The GOP has certainly tried many times to throw their support at anyone else, but each time it doesn't pan out. It seems likely that Romney will eventually come out on top.
